Funded by the EU Horizon Europe Programme, SafeNet is a €6.2 million, 4.5-year project that aims to stop biodiversity loss and boost ecosystem resilience in European forests, using advanced monitoring, modelling, and working with local communities to develop solutions that balance conservation with the use of natural resources.
